Baroque guitars with vaulted back Baroque guitars with vaulted back are based on the anonymous guitar from
the Paris museum (E-130). This guitar can be made with a string length between 68 and 73 cm.
All instruments have a beautiful inlay and an original 3 D rosette. Woods and finish All guitars with vaulted back have an Alpine spruce sound- board. Sides
are made of several pieces of Rio rosewood laminated with bands of maple or
satin wood. Backs are made of 17 to 23 pieces of Rio rosewood laminated
with bands of maple or satin wood. Necks are ebony veneer over spruce
laminated with bands of maple or satin wood. It is also possible to veneer the neck with a baroque motive in maple and ebony (see small picture).
